PHILANTHROPY
Corbin’s commitment to community service is a corporate priority.  We encourage employees to volunteer their time and support in strengthening the community.  Our employees have assisted the Department of Human Services in delivering support to families in need.  During the holiday season, employees donate grocery gift cards, clothing, and toys to less fortunate families in the community.  Corbin also sponsors a holiday art competition at a local elementary school.  We donate funds to improve education, and the winner’s drawing is used on the firm’s holiday card.  Many employees also volunteer individually to support local charitable events.

Philanthropic Recognition

In 2007, Corbin was named Business Philanthropist of the Year at the Alexandria Business Philanthropy Summit. The award recognized the numerous contributions by Corbin and its employees in volunteer time and financial aid to community projects and organizations. 

In 2010, The Fund for Alexandria’s Child recognized Corbin for its support of the Fund’s mission to enhance the quality of life for foster children and children at risk of abuse and neglect.   

The Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) organization of Northern Virginia recognized Corbin for its most recent holiday art competition in their Winter 2011 Speak Up for Children publication.  To see this year’s holiday card and past designs, click here.
