Job Title:      
Senior Software Developer

Job Location:
Alexandria, VA

Job Duties:     

• Develop n-tier web / Windows / using ASP.NET 4.0, HTML, JavaScript, & CSS
• Develop software system design, programming & documentation based on business requirements
• Document & report status / progress of assigned tasks on a regular basis
• Responsible for ensuring adherence of all deliverables to appropriate standards & quality levels
• Maintain knowledge of best practices surrounding IT technology, processes & applications development / support
• Work effectively with other team members on multi-person projects, provide constructive evaluation of code & share knowledge / insight
• Communicate with business users & analysts to gather accurate requirements for new enhancements & applications

Experience Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 7 - 10 years of development experience required
• Proven knowledge of .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET 4.0, ADO.NET)
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, SQL Server Enterprise Manager / Query Analyzer
• Knowledge of relational database design; proven experience using SQL Server & T-SQL, with ability to write stored procedures, user defined functions & SQL queries
• Solid understanding of Object-oriented design

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AJAX frameworks, web services and / or Flash a plus
